You will translate observations into actionable breeding decisions while ensuring safe operations and protocol compliance.

This role requires a PhD or MSc in Plant Pathology with at least 3 years of applied pathology experience.

Qualificações

• PhD or MSc in Plant Pathology or related field with at least 3 years of applied pathology experience.
• Experience in field pathology, disease characterization, inoculum production, and screening programs.
• Ability to link diagnostic outputs to breeding or product decisions.

Responsabilidades

• Execute plant health field characterization across environments for robust disease observations.
• Support inoculum production workflows with biosafety and protocol adherence.
• Provide technical support for disease diagnosis and escalation of complex cases.
• Co-design and standardize disease-screening protocols to improve consistency and decision value.
• Build regional Plant Health capability by coaching field teams and embedding pathology practices.
• Translate pathology outputs into actionable insights for Breeding and regional stakeholders.
• Ensure staff training and compliance with Bayer ESH policies; drive data quality improvements.
• Travel regionally to support testing networks.
