Vacancy: Picker / Packer – Johannesburg

Location: Johannesburg

Employment Type: Permanent | Full-Time

An established manufacturing and distribution company is seeking a Picker / Packer to assist with picking, packing, and storing finished goods for sales orders within lead times and according to set procedures.

Key Performance Areas
  • Pull stock items from shelves according to product type and quantity.
  • Ensure all orders are accurately picked and packed.
  • Record stock movements and maintain accurate stock cards.
  • Inspect products for damage and remove defective or expired stock.
  • Verify items and quantities against pick tickets.
  • Pack orders securely using correct packaging materials.
  • Weigh parcels and record package dimensions for courier dispatch.
  • Prepare orders for courier collection, ensuring accuracy and timely readiness.
  • Replenish stock on shelves timeously.
  • Perform quality control checks and daily stock counts.
  • Investigate stock discrepancies and assist with resolving inventory issues.
