Job summary

Nurture Health in Cape Town is seeking a passionate Physiotherapist to join our interdisciplinary rehabilitation team. Reporting to the Therapy Manager, you will assess patients, develop and monitor personalised treatment plans, and work with other healthcare professionals to restore mobility and independence.

You will provide patient education, plan discharge, document clinical activities, and uphold HPCSA guidelines within independent practice.

Qualifications

• HPCSA Independent Practice registration required.
• Proven experience in physical rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ physical and functional abilities and develop, implement, and monitor individualized physiotherapy treatment plans.
• Deliver interventions including mobility retraining, neurorehabilitation, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, musculoskeletal and orthopaedic rehabilitation, balance retraining, fall prevention, exercise prescription, wheelchair seating, and mobility equipment prescription.
• Provide patient and caregiver education, plan discharge and home exercise programmes, collaborate with the interdisciplinary team on patient-centred goals, and maintain accurate clinical documentation and billing records.
