Job description

Christian Brothers’ College, Boksburg is an Independent Boys’ School and is seeking an experienced, qualified and dynamic full-time Physiotherapist to operate from the CBC Sports Campus.

Position Overview

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to run their private physiotherapy practice from our on-site Sports Campus, working closely with the school’s Sports Department and learners. The role requires an energetic and professional individual passionate about sports rehabilitation, injury prevention and athlete performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide physiotherapy services to CBC learners, including assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of sports-related injuries;
  • Work collaboratively with the Sports Director, coaches and medical professionals to ensure player welfare and readiness;
  • Develop and implement injury prevention and recovery programs;
  • Offer post-match and training recovery sessions where applicable;
  • Maintain accurate records of all treatments and progress reports.
  • Assist in building and managing a client base within the broader CBC community.
  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Physiotherapy;
  • Current registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA);
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in sports or musculoskeletal physiotherapy (experience in a school or sports environment advantageous);
  • Strong communication, administrative and interpersonal skills;
  • Professional, reliable and able to work independently.
  • The position is full-time, based at Christian Brothers’ College Boksburg Sports Campus.
  • This is not a salaried position — the successful candidate will operate an independent private practice from the CBC Sports Campus at their own cost and billing structure.

The successful candidates will be required to provide a police clearance certificate and be cleared on the Sexual Offenders Register.
