Dainfern College Senior Preparatory requires the following teacher from 1 May 2026:

PHYSICAL EDUCATION TEACHER & SPORTS COACH: GRADES 4-7

Dainfern College is an independent, English‑medium, co‑educational school catering for Grades 0-12 and is situated on Broadacres Drive, Dainfern, north of Fourways. Applications are invited from suitably qualified teachers for this full‑time position teaching Grade 4‑7 girls and boys’ Physical Education within the Life Orientation curriculum, and coaching sport as part of the school’s extramural programme. The successful candidate should be able to start on 1 May 2026 or soonest thereafter.

The successful applicant must meet the following minimum requirements:

  • A relevant qualification and SACE accreditation
  • A proven track record as an educator with the ability to teach physical education
  • Knowledge of the physical and emotional development of children within this age group
  • A team player with excellent interpersonal, communication and administrative skills
  • Insight into and proficiency in various sporting codes and coaching methods
  • A commitment to all aspects of the extramural programme, including identified Saturdays in term
  • Attendance at workshops and meetings
  • The intention to work to the College’s ethos and understand the importance of belonging and inclusion in a school environment.
