Job summary

Swan iT Recruitment Ltd seeks a mid-level PHP developer to join our in-house team. You will work on PHP/MySQL/Laravel projects powering our services and incentive platform, contributing to both sales channels and custom development. The role involves maintaining security practices and integrating web services.

You'll also engage with modern tooling, including AWS, Docker, Node.js, Golang, and Terraform, supporting infrastructure and deployment as part of a collaborative development environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of PHP development experience.
• 4+ years of MySQL experience.
• Strong Laravel framework expertise.
• Proficient CSS/HTML/jQuery/Ajax.
• Web services integration (SOAP/REST).
• Git/GitHub/GitLab experience.
• Knowledge of web application security best practices.
• Docker experience.
• AWS experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain PHP applications used by our sales and incentive platforms.
• Contribute to in-house framework or Laravel projects.

Duties & Responsibilities

The following role is for a mid-level PHP developer with experience in MySQL and Laravel.

Form part of our in-house development team that builds and manages all the software used to deliver our services. This includes both our sales channel systems and the incentive platform. We also do custom development when the requirement arises. Depending on the requirements, our systems are built using either an in-house framework designed for purpose or Laravel. (We also run a Nodejs application and are starting to use Golang.) We make use of AWS for hosting, Terraform for infrastructure management.
