A leading pharmaceutical company seeks a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative to promote their products to pharmacies, dispensing doctors, and clinics within the Northwest region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Visit assigned healthcare professionals in the area to provide product information and promote awareness.
  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with healthcare professionals to influence prescription behaviour as well as sales.
  • Achieve the company’s call rate targets to ensure comprehensive coverage of the target customer base.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and maximize market share within the assigned territory.
  • Continuously monitor sales performance, identify areas of improvement and take corrective actions to ensure the area reaches or exceeds the company budget.
  • Effectively implement marketing strategies, campaigns and promotional activities within the assigned territory.
  • Conduct product presentations, organize educational events and participate in medical conferences as required.
  • Provide timely feedback to the marketing team on market trends, competitor activities and customer needs to support the development of effective marketing strategies.
  • Be available to participate in a monthly country trip to collaborate with the national sales team, share best practices and align regional objectives with the company goals.
  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records of interactions with healthcare professionals in the CRM system.
  • Stay informed about the latest medical and scientific developments relevant to the assigned therapeutic areas.
  • Continuously enhance product knowledge and stay up to date with competitor products.
  • Comply with all relevant legal, ethical and regulatory guidelines governing pharmaceutical sales activities.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills in English with the ability to communicate efficiently, orally and in writing; strong industry knowledge of products and services along with strong commercial acumen.
  • Display strong organizational and time‑management skills; multi‑task effectively.
  • Apply sophisticated analytical skills.
  • Takes initiative and acts proactively, enthusiastically and creatively.
  • Examine and understand issues from multiple perspectives or points of view, readily see interrelationships and cause‑and‑effect relationships; take a systematic approach to successfully resolving all issues.

Requirements
  • BSc Degree and/or equivalent.
  • Pharmaceutical Sales Representative experience.
  • Proven experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Proficiency in English, both oral and written communications.
  • Financial and budgeting skills and experience.
  • Detailed track record of successful sales initiatives; advantageous digital literacy (MS Office programs).
  • Financial literacy.
  • Proven experience as a Medical Representative or similar role in the pharmaceutical industry is desirable.
  • Strong understanding of sales and general medicine is highly desirable.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage healthcare professionals.
  • Results‑oriented mindset with a demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets.
  • Self‑motivated and able to work independently while also being a team player.
  • Valid driver’s licence, vehicle and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and proficiency in using digital tools as well as MS Office for sales activities is an advantage.
