Job summary

A leading pharmaceutical company in South Africa seeks a Sales Representative to promote its products to pharmacies and dispensing doctors. The role involves achieving sales targets, developing key customer relationships, and identifying market opportunities. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of sales experience, preferably in retail pharmacy, and possess strong negotiation and analytical skills. A valid driver's licence is required.

Job Purpose

To call on Pharmacies and Dispensing Doctors to promote within the Adcock Ingram Rx Division.

Qualifications
  • Matric + Degree in Science related fields (Preferable)

  • The Professional Sales Representative needs to constantly achieve individual regional and divisional sales targets.
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and Key Customers.
  • Identify opportunities in the market for new products and new growth areas for the business.
  • Successfully implement sales and marketing strategies.
  • Analysis of regional sales, competitor and market share data, then help develop strategies and action plans to maximise sales potential in the respective area.
  • To respond adequately and professionally to customer complaints and queries.
