About the Role

ThePharmacy Managerwill oversee and manage the clinical and retail pharmacy operations. This role is responsible for ensuring the safe, effective, and ethical delivery of pharmaceutical services in compliance with professional, legal, and regulatory standards.

Key areas of responsibility include clinical support, procurement and stock management, staff leadership, financial oversight, retail pharmacy operations, and quality improvement. The Pharmacy Manager will also act as a liaison between the Clinical Pharmacist and Medical Practitioners to promote patient-centred care and collaboration. This position forms part of theSenior Management Team.

Minimum Requirements :
  • BPharm Degree or equivalent + SAPC registration.
  • 10+ years’ relevant pharmacy experience, of which 5 years in a managerial role.
  • Experience in hospital and retail pharmacy would be advantageous.
  • In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical legislation, GPP, and clinical best practices.
  • Strong proficiency in pharmacy and stock management systems.
  • Solid financial management and budgeting experience.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal abilities.
