Job summary

A healthcare services provider is looking for Pharmacist Students in Gqeberha for 2nd and 3rd year B.Pharm or Registered Learner Post Basic Pharmacist Assistants. Responsibilities include assisting with medications, managing stock, and administrative tasks in the pharmacy. Candidates must be South African citizens with motivation and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

  • Must be a South African Citizen.
  • Motivated, enthusiastic and able to work in a team.
  • Must be based in Gqeberha/Port Elizabeth with own transport.

  • Conduct cycle counts and stock takes.

Responsibilities
  • General housekeeping and administrative tasks in the pharmacy as specified by the pharmacy manager.
  • Assist with unpacking of medicines.
  • Picking, packing and dispatching of ward orders.
  • Assist with cycle counts and stock takes of pharmaceutical stock.
  • Assist with the compounding of pharmaceutical preparations.
  • Assist with functions in pharmacy according to their scope with SAPC.
Requirements
  • Must have passed first & second year B.Pharm degree.
  • Must be registered with SA Pharmacy Council as a pharmacy student or as a Learner Post Basic Pharmacist Assistant.
  • Must be a South African Citizen.
  • The ideal incumbent should be highly motivated, enthusiastic and work well in a team.
  • Must be based permanently in Gqeberha/Port Elizabeth and have own transport.
