• Performing services pertaining to a pharmacist's assistant scope of practice under direct supervision of a pharmacist.
• Assisting with the compounding, manipulation or preparation of medicines according to approved formulas and procedures.
• Reading and preparing prescriptions, including selection, labelling and supply of medicine.
• Accurately interpreting scripts and capturing script details on the system.
• Advising and assisting patients at the dispensary and self-medication counter.
• Processing paperwork for accurate submission of claims to medical aids.
