Job summary

Clicks Group is seeking a Pharmacist Assistant to provide pharmaceutical care within the scope of practice and handle day‑to‑day dispensary administration according to SOPs.

You will ensure high standards of customer service, manage stock, and deliver health advice while maintaining accuracy, integrity and compliance with SAPC guidelines. This permanent role requires dedication to patient care.

Qualifications

• Matric with Maths (Essential)
• Health Prof SA requirements for Pharmacist Assistant levels: Qualified, Post Basic and Learner Basic.

Responsibilities

• Provide pharmaceutical care within scope of practice and dispense according to SOPs.
• Maintain efficient dispensary administration and stock control including repacking of medicine.
• Deliver general health advice and uphold high housekeeping and merchandise display standards.
• Comply with SAPC and legal requirements; ensure accuracy and ethical practice.

Responsible for providing pharmaceutical care services (within scope of practice) and performing day-to-day dispensary administration according to company's Standard Operating Plans (SOPs).

Job Objectives:

• High standards of customer service and care
• Efficient stock control and administration, including repacking of medicine
• Efficient dispensary administration
• Provision of general health advice
• High standards of housekeeping and merchandise display
• Ad hoc requirements as per operational requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

• Matric with Maths (Essential)
• Minimum requirements of the Health Professions Council of South Africa for the various levels as a Pharmacist Assistant (Qualified, Post Basic and Learner Basic)
