Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a proficient Petroleum Engineer with a strong focus on economics and planning to join our East London team in a hybrid role. You will evaluate economic viability of exploration and production projects, develop long-term field development plans and provide technical input for strategic decision-making in the oil and gas sector.

You will work closely with reservoir engineers, geoscientists and finance to maximize asset value.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in petroleum engineering with economics and planning focus.
• Experience in reserves estimation, economic modelling and risk assessment.
• Proficiency with petroleum economic software and Excel.

You will be instrumental in evaluating the economic viability of exploration and production projects, developing long-term field development plans, and providing technical input for strategic decision-making within the oil and gas industry . Key Responsibilities
