The Working Earth is seeking a Pest Control Technician to deliver quality pest control services at client sites in Upington, Northern Cape. You will complete treatment reports, maintain equipment and vehicles, and report any pest concerns.

Applicants should have Grade 11/12, a valid P Number from the Department of Agriculture, and PCITA pest control training. 1 year of experience preferred; strong English communication and a team-player attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Grade 11/12 or equivalent.
• Valid P Number Certificate from the Department of Agriculture.
• 3-Day Structural Pest Control Skills Course through PCITA.

Responsabilités

• Deliver quality and timely pest control services at client sites.
• Complete treatment reports and maintain required service documentation.
• Identify and report pest control, proofing and housekeeping concerns.
• Maintain pest control equipment and the assigned company vehicle.
• Comply with all health and safety requirements.

Minimum Requirements

Grade 11/12 and/or a 3-Day Structural Pest Control Skills Course through PCITA . Valid and active P Number Certificate from the Department of Agriculture. Structural pest control training: Advantageous/Required as applicable Minimum 1 year of pest control experience . Good driving skills. Good command of English and strong communication skills. Physically fit and able to meet the requirements of the position. Self-motivated, disciplined and detail-oriented. Team player with a willingness to learn.
