Overview
Personal Assistant (with Accounting / Tax Exposure) — Benoni | Onsite. We are a boutique audit and accounting practice led by two Registered CAs (SA) and RAs.
Responsibilities
- Calendar management, inbox coordination and client follow‑ups
- Preparation, completion and simple reconciliations of documentation and forms
- Light research and first‑draft templates
- Small operational tasks that keep the firm moving
Qualifications
- BCom (or equivalent) preferred
- Exposure to direct & indirect tax (e.g., VAT, PAYE, income tax packs)
- Hands‑on experience with Xero, Sage and QuickBooks
- Strong Excel & Word skills (lookups, pivots, clean formatting)
- Clear written & verbal communication; professional client manner
- Within 20 km of Benoni and able to commute daily
- 30+ years old with a mature, detail‑oriented and structured work style, able to juggle multiple tasks and prioritize
