Personal Assistant to the CEO/Headmaster

The International School of South Africa is an independent Primary and Senior Boarding School situated on a large, superbly landscaped estate in Mahikeng, North West Province. It offers excellent teaching, residential, sporting, and cultural facilities. The School offers a dual Curriculum: the Cambridge International Curriculum from Primary School through to Senior School and the IEB (Independent Examination Board) for Grades 10 to 12 education. Both Curricula provide an excellent academic grounding for tertiary and beyond.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Administration or Executive Secretarial, or a related field
  • 4 years of administrative experience supporting senior management within a school environment is preferable
  • Good organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks with efficiency
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to use own discretion and maintain confidentiality
  • Excellent command of the English language, written and spoken
  • Computer skills in MS Word and Excel, Google Calendar, Meet, and Drive
  • Flexible to work early or late and occasionally on weekends
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact at all levels
  • IEB Examinations Officer

Tasks will include:

  • Taking minutes, typing, and filing
  • Diary management, meetings, and appointments coordination
  • Administrative support to the Board
  • General Secretarial functions
