Personal Assistant to Managing Director – Fish Hoek – Bespoke Design Industry
The Opportunity

If you enjoy keeping things organised and want to grow in a creative design environment, this role is made for you. You will support daily operations, help manage projects, and work with custom lighting and furniture pieces seen in homes, hotels and commercial spaces. You will use simple project tools and get involved in real design‑to‑installation work. The role is based in Fish Hoek and offers a stable R20 000 salary each month. The Company

Our client is a boutique South African design‑house that creates custom‑built lighting and furniture for hospitality spaces, commercial projects, retail environments, and high‑end homes. They manage each project from concept to installation, working closely with architects, designers and developers. Their focus is on creative problem‑solving, practical design, and long‑lasting client partnerships across local and international markets.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Manage the MD’s diary, communication, and daily priorities
  • Track project timelines using MS Projects, Asana, Trello, or Monday.com
  • Coordinate tasks with designers, clients, suppliers, and production teams
  • Keep all project files, drawings, reports, and documents up to date
  • Manage social media content planning, posting, and scheduling
  • Support logistics, material follow‑ups, and installation planning
Experience & Qualifications
  • 2–3 years’ experience as a PA, EA, or Project Coordinator
  • Strong organisational and admin skills
  • Able to use project tools like MS Projects, Asana, Trello or Monday.com
  • Full‑function social media management experience (planning, posting, scheduling)
