A leading private school in Pretoria East is looking for a proficient Personal Assistant to provide executive-level support. The ideal candidate must have at least 4 years of experience in payroll and HR administration, strong organisational and communication skills, and a client service mindset. Our client, a leading private school in Pretoria East, is seeking a highly capable and detail-driven Personal Assistant to provide executive-level support to the school’s leadership team.

A minimum of 4 years’ experience in Payroll Administration.
A minimum of 4 years’ HR Administration experience, including contracts, leave management, UIF claims, recruiting, and onboarding.
Proven experience as a Personal Assistant or Executive Assistant.
Strong organisational and multitasking skills – able to manage a busy executive diary with precision.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
A client service mindset and professional personal presentation.
The ability to function well under pressure and coordinate between multiple stakeholders (parents, staff, and learners).
Computer literacy and confident use of MS Office.
Knowledge of switchboard operation and conferencing administration (advantageous).
Experience in the education sector or higher education environment (advantageous).
Additional South African languages (advantageous).
A clear criminal record.
Provide full executive support to the school’s leadership.
Manage an active diary, schedule meetings, and handle correspondence.
Attend to visitors, parents, and staff professionally – in person, via phone, or email.
Coordinate communication between departments and stakeholders.
Manage bookings and quotations for the school’s conference and meeting facilities.
Liaise with the food and beverage team for events.
Maintain updated internal contact lists and staff movement registers.
Handle general administrative duties and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Uphold confidentiality and align with the school’s values and ethos.
