Personal Assistant

INTRODUCTION: An exciting opportunity has become available within the construction industry for a Personal Assistant.

The position is based in Plattekloof.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain database and filing system.
  • Meet deadlines.
  • Keep the server up to date at all times.
  • Ensure that all documentation is filed correctly.
  • Drive Auditor General queries and obtain relevant information to successfully complete AG audits.
  • Comply with all processes and protocols.
  • Independently obtain all information required from PSPs, contractors, etc.
  • Handle calendar events, set up meetings, etc.
  • Organize reports and documents.
  • Answer phone calls and screen visitors.
  • Handle office management duties.
  • Make travel arrangements.
  • Coordinate and manage recruitment and onboarding for new employees.
  • Organize office events.
  • Organize department vehicles and bookings.
  • Manage and update leave tracker and obtain relevant sick leave notes.
  • Draft business letters.
  • Assist in tender documentation.
  • Perform any other ad-hoc duties required.
Qualifications
  • Diploma or Degree (advantageous).
  • Experience in the construction industry (beneficial).
  • Experience in contracts (JBCC and NEC) administration and financial administration (beneficial).
  • Experience in project/programme management (bonus).
  • Minimum 2 years experience.
