Job summary

adidas stores are seeking a proactive Retail Associate to deliver exceptional customer service and manage daily sales transactions with accuracy. You will assist in stock movement, merchandise displays, and follow store policies, while helping customers choose products and maintaining store standards.

The role emphasizes flexibility to work evenings and weekends, a willingness to learn, and basic Power BI awareness to understand store performance. Matric and 0–1 year retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Adidas service excellence to every customer.
• Process regular sales transactions (cash, credit, checks).

• Contribute to displays and merchandising per store guidance.
• Learn and use the point-of-sale system while maintaining policy compliance.
• Greet customers and help them find products; front-door greeter during busy days.

Job description

PURPOSE & OVERALL RELEVANCE FOR THE ORGANIZATION:

Assist management in day-to-day store maintenance while providing excellent service and observing and maintaining all store policies and procedures.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensures the highest level of adidas service is given to each customer.

As needed, completes any regular sales transactions involving cash, credit, checks, etc.

Involved indirectly with ticketing of products as well as checking paperwork against items received.

Assists in product flow from stockroom to sales floor on afill-inbasis.

Assists in the development of displays of merchandise or follow suggestions or schedules provided by the store management team.

Attain proficiency with the point-of-sale system by acquiring system utilization skills. Ensure integrity is maintained through attention to policy and procedure.

Uses selling techniques such as add on sales and describing technical information to customers to enhance salesmanship and reach store and position sales goals.

Greets customers in the store and assists them in finding the right product. Occasionally, serves primarily as a Greeter at the front door during busy workdays.

Maintaining general housekeeping standards(Including cleaning of thestore)

Safekeeping of Company assets

Loss prevention, monitoring sales floor and reportingany suspicious activity and follow security procedures/ SLAP.

Ensure they take part inin-storetrainingor digitaltrainingprovided by the company (Atticus/AREA) to ensure they have product knowledge and role best practice.

Familiarize themselves with Power BI tools to have more understanding of store performance,bestsellers / blackholeproduct.
