Role Purpose

We are looking for a mature, experienced, and dynamic Facilitator to join our Gauteng Learning team – someone with the credibility, energy, and passion to inspire both new advisers and sales managers to reach their full potential.
Deliver impactful learning experiences that enable sales advisers and sales managers to improve advice quality, productivity, and leadership effectiveness by bridging technical learning with practical sales and management capability. The role fosters a conducive, engaging learning environment through interactive activities that encourage knowledge transfer and connect theory with real‑world workplace application.

Requirements
  • 7+ years’ experience in learning facilitation, ideally including both adviser and management audiences within a corporate environment
  • Experience in financial services, insurance, or a B2C sales environment (essential)
  • Prior exposure to sales leadership, coaching, or management roles (advantageous)
  • National Diploma / Degree in Learning & Development, Human Resources, or equivalent
  • OD‑ETDP Practitioner qualification (preferred)
  • Valid Driver’s License and ability to travel within Gauteng
  • Comfortable with hybrid working, managing time and deliverables independently

Duties & Responsibilities
Learning Delivery
  • Facilitate new‑adviser onboarding, product knowledge, systems training, and sales skills programmes
  • Facilitate management capability sessions (e.g. leadership, coaching, business management)
  • Apply adult learning principles to create an engaging, experiential learning environment
  • Adjust facilitation techniques for diverse audiences and learning styles
  • Use storytelling and real examples to bring content to life
Performance Enablement
  • Reinforce post‑learning application through follow‑ups, coaching, and collaboration with Branch Managers
  • Identify performance gaps and provide input into learning design and improvement
  • Gather learner data and feedback; provide insights to the Learning Business Partner and design teams
Stakeholder Engagement
  • Build strong relationships with learners and Branch Managers and L&D team members
  • Act as a trusted adviser and subject‑matter facilitator in assigned regions
  • Participate in innovation initiatives and continuously improve delivery quality
Operational Excellence
  • Maintain accurate attendance, assessment, and competence records
  • Adhere to all FSCA, FAIS, and Fit & Proper compliance requirements during assessments
  • Ensure smooth execution of logistics in collaboration with the Learning Coordination team
Measures of Success
  • Positive learner and stakeholder feedback (Net Promoter Score or equivalent)
  • Post‑learning performance uplift indicators (sales results, retention, or quality)
  • Effective hybrid facilitation (engagement metrics from virtual tools)
  • Timely and accurate record keeping
  • Collaboration feedback from peers and Learning Partners
Additional Responsibilities
  • Partner with L&D and business leaders to ensure learning initiatives are aligned with performance and strategic goals
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of learning strategy and instructional design
  • Monitor learning impact and provide actionable insights based on performance data and learner feedback
  • Support innovation and continuous improvement in learning delivery, including the integration of AI‑enhanced and blended learning approaches
  • Mentor junior facilitators and actively contribute to building team capability and confidence
  • Recommend enhancements to learning programs based on data, feedback, and evolving business needs
  • Champion innovative learning solutions that are scalable, relevant, and future‑focused
