The job at a glance

Join our team and you'll be responsible for executing a consistent, high quality end-to-end People experience.

Working in the People department, you will manage all day-to-day People Operations across the employee lifecycle including promoting high engagement and stakeholder management by implementing People initiatives and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.

You will play a vital role as we reimagine the labour market to make it work for everybody.

Your responsibilities
  • Act as a first point of contact for employee enquiries, providing consultancy guidance and support regarding People topics.
  • Take ownership and assist in the implementation of our new HRIS, Workday.
  • Ensure a smooth and positive onboarding experience for new hires as well as off-boarding experience for leavers.
  • Issue accurate contracts, contract amendments, dismissal letters or termination agreements, and other (contractual) documents.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, labour laws, employment regulations including health and safety.
  • Completion of statutory Reporting (Stats SA, Employment Equity, etc).
Your skills & qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years' of experience in People Function or People Operations roles.
  • Proficiency in Workday is essential.
  • Bachelor's degree or formal training in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field would be preferable.
  • Excellent communication, influencing and relationship-building skills.
  • Working Knowledge of relevant labour laws and regulations.
