Responsibilities
  • Provide first‑class Team Member relations services to the hotel to deliver an excellent Team Member experience while assisting with People Operations strategy and managing succession planning.
  • Support the Hotel Leadership in all HR activities and ensure compliance with Hilton policies and local/national regulations.
  • Lead by example – be a great boss, coach and role model for others.
  • Support Team Members in operations departments during peak service hours and be present at the Hotel Restaurant during Breakfast service for 30 minutes a day.
  • Serve as Duty Manager once a month and interview, onboard, supervise and evaluate People Operations team members.
  • Organize and provide regular HR training opportunities for People Operations Team Members and HODs.
  • Maintain a positive work environment and guide the Chief Host and leadership team in creating an inspiring atmosphere.
  • Ensure all TMs understand their role, are equipped with training and necessary tools, and are paid in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Maintain effective communication (e.g., Hotel Huddles) to achieve high level of trust & engagement.
  • Use the brand specific Recognition Calendar and implement actions regularly within the team and the hotel.
  • Establish effective working relationships with other departments to support cross‑departmental collaboration.
  • Manage payroll, HR & payroll systems, budgets and ensure 100% compliance with contractual and legal responsibilities.
  • Recruit new TMs in compliance with recruiting guidelines and diversity & inclusion goals.
  • Coordinate the annual global team member engagement survey and drive engagement and trust.
  • Implement and maintain mandatory training and additional training to develop team members on property.
  • Take ownership of implementing a culture on property that aligns with the brand.
  • Execute any other duties as assigned by the Chief Host and Sr. Director HR Focused Service EMEA.
