The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, HPCSA registration, at least 3 years of pediatric experience, and comfort with tele-practice platforms.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join their remote team, serving children across George, Western Cape and beyond. This fully remote position involves diagnosing and treating speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in infants, children, and adolescents. The SLP will utilize tele-therapy platforms to deliver high-quality, evidence-based interventions directly to clients in their homes. We are looking for a skilled and compassionate professional who is adept at building rapport with children and families virtually and can create engaging therapy sessions online. This role offers the flexibility to work from anywhere, contributing to improved communication and quality of life for pediatric clients. The ideal candidate is experienced in pediatric caseloads and comfortable with remote service delivery technologies. Your expertise will be invaluable in supporting children's development and empowering their families.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for pediatric clients via tele-therapy.
• Diagnose speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current certification and licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in South Africa (e.g., HPCSA registration).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working with pediatric populations.
• Proven experience and comfort with tele-therapy platforms and remote service delivery.
• Strong knowledge of pediatric speech and language development, disorders, and treatment methodologies.
• Excellent diagnostic, therapeutic, and counseling skills.
