About the Role

Our client is looking for a compassionate and experienced Pediatric Nanny/Caregiver to provide specialized care for their child in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga. This role requires an individual with a strong background in pediatric care, understanding the unique needs and developmental stages of children. The Nanny will be responsible for ensuring the child's safety, health, and well-being, while also fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment that supports their growth. Key Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated care for the child, ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Administer medications and follow specific medical care instructions as directed.
• Monitor the child's health and well-being, reporting any changes to the parents.
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks according to dietary recommendations.
• Engage the child in age-appropriate activities, games, and learning exercises.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Pediatric Nanny, Nurse, or in a similar childcare role with a focus on children's health.
• Knowledge of common pediatric health conditions and care routines.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification, with pediatric specialization preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High level of patience, empathy, and responsibility.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions regarding medical care and routines.
• Must pass a comprehensive background check.
• Must reside in or be willing to relocate to Nelspruit, Mpumalanga.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Experience with specific pediatric needs is a significant advantage.
