A leading payroll solutions provider in South Africa is seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to manage the end-to-end payroll for approximately 1,000 employees using Sage People. This role requires strong accuracy and confidentiality while ensuring compliance with payroll legislation. The successful candidate will also collaborate with HR and assist with various payroll-related queries and claims.

Qualifications

• Experience in end-to-end payroll processing.
• Knowledge of payroll legislation and compliance.
• Strong organizational skills to manage claims and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Process monthly payroll for approximately 1,000 employees.
• Review and validate overtime claims and deductions.
• Collaborate with HR for accurate employee data maintenance.
• Administer ESS system and address employee queries.
• Manage provident fund claims and medical aid applications.
