Job description
Responsibilities
  • Perform accurate and detailed calculations to determine bonus payouts based on established formulae, criteria, company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure that all bonus payments are accurate and processed within the set timelines.
  • Maintain, update and safeguard accurate records of bonus-related data across the company.
  • Compile periodic and ad-hoc reports, providing insights and trends for management decision-making.
  • Analysis of large datasets through the application of advanced Excel functions (e.g. Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
  • Conduct regular validation of payroll data for accuracy and consistency.
  • Prepare documentation and reports for internal and audits, external audits, and compliance inspections.
  • Resolve all discrepancies promptly to uphold data integrity.
  • Collaborate effectively with all internal stakeholders to gather necessary inputs for bonus administration.
  • Attend to and resolve all employee bonus and other payroll queries, professionally.
  • Import information into the payroll system accurately.
  • Issue weekly and monthly payslips within the set timelines.
  • Submission and tracking of third-party claims according to relevant policies and procedures.
  • Reconcile payments made to external service providers and variances between the payroll and financial systems.
  • Maintain court orders (garnishees) and ensure accurate deduction thereof.
  • Maintain and archive employee records and files.
  • Resolve internal and external discrepancies and deal with complaints and queries in a professional manner.
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly checks to ensure accuracy of the payroll information.
  • Provide assistance during financial year-end and audit processes.
