Overview

An opportunity exists for a Payroll & Admin Coordinator

Responsibilities
  • Management of Time and attendance
  • Training and support of Line Managers
  • Administer and manage leave transactions
  • Ensure Candidates are booked for screening and medicals
  • Prepare contracts for new joiners
  • Orientation of new employees
  • Ensure submission accurate submission of new engagement, terminations and promotions
  • Guile Line managers on correct applications and intent of HR policies and process
  • Prepare invite letters for disciplinary
  • Prepare and maintain personnel files
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity
  • Maintaining an accurate organogram
  • Responsible for movement of employees on Sage
  • Load new joiners on Sage
  • Liase with payroll for disability claims
  • Responsible for death claims and assist employees
  • SAP purchase orders for stationary, cleaning materials and monthly services / rentals
  • Providing administrative assistance to the accounting department
  • Planning and coordinating events (wellness days, annual awards, long services, medical aid assist & induction sessions)
  • Assisting with any other administrative tasks as and when they may arise.
Qualifications and job requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in HR with matric.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • SAGE 300 experience
  • Payspace experience will be advantageous.
  • Attention to detail and deadline driven
  • Work independently and can multitask effectively.
  • High level of confidentiality
  • Excellent communication skills
