  • Support the Payroll Manager and handle payroll for weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly periods.
  • Process invoices and handle payroll queries effectively.
  • Manage contributions for various third parties and ensure compliance with SARS submissions.

PAYROLL ADMINISTRATORR

Intermediate level. Reason for vacancy – Resignation, career advancement. Area: Roodepoort. My client is looking for a vibrant, clever, quick thinker Payroll Administrator, who enjoys the rush of the pressure of payroll.

This role offers a Hybrid of 2 days at home and 3 days at office.

This candidate will work with + weekly, bi-weekly and monthly payroll; you will not work alone you will work in a team.

All data is imported, non is captured.

This is a supporting function to the Payroll Manager, to become her 2nd if she is off on leave.

Good communication and the ability to deal with difficult clients and payroll queries will be required.

Requirements
  • Matric - completed
  • Payroll certification is required
  • Bookkeeper certification will be advantageous
  • MS Office - Advanced Excel - V-Lookups and Pivot tables a must
  • Exposure to SAGE People or any other payroll system
  • Own car essential - Valid driver's license
Experience / Duties
  • Experience with the full Payroll function will be required.
  • Min 3.5 years active work exposure within a Payroll Department, processing + weekly, bi-weekly or monthly payroll.
  • Understand 3rd party contributions i.e. MIBCO, NBCRFLI, MEIBC, COID, UNIONS, PROVIDENT, GROUPLIFE, MEDICAL etc.
  • Knowledge of SARS - EMP and EMP Submissions
  • Know how to process invoices
  • Handle payroll queries
  • Load new Payroll member / discontinue resigned members from payroll
  • Process Leave
  • Reconciliation of MIBCO & NBCRFLI
  • Import Payroll Hours where needed
  • Payroll checks - weekly, Bi-weekly and monthly
  • Capture EFT's on NETCASH - training will be provided
