Job summary

A logistics company in Middelburg is seeking a Warehouse Operator to ensure the achievement of performance standards in the warehouse. You will manage stock, comply with safety procedures, and assist with warehouse duties. Candidates must have Grade 12 and good communication skills, with a preference for those having forklift licenses. This position requires 1-2 years of warehouse experience and the ability to work independently.

Key Outputs

• Ensure relevant daily warehouse KPI's are exceeded.
• Comply to specifications of order type by customer within time and quality standards.
• Ensure warehouse procedures are carried out safely within the framework of compliance to SOPs.
• Ensure duties are carried out to ensure achievement of warehouse performance standards i.e. maintain parts stock, reduce stock losses/damages, etc.
• Ensure the accuracy of stock counts, picking, binning, etc.
• Maintain good housekeeping standards.
• Assist with Warehouse related duties in the Parts department.

Qualification, Experience And Competencies

• Grade 12
• Understanding warehouse processes and procedure.
• Forklift License – Will be advantageous.
• 1-2 years warehouse experience.
• Customer Service Orientation.
• Good communication skills.
• Be able to work independently and process compliance orientation.
• Ability to follow instructions 100%.
• Teamwork; literate, attention to detail; numeric accuracy.
• Computer literacy.
