Job summary

A leading equipment supplier in Johannesburg seeks a Warehouse Operator to ensure daily warehouse KPIs are exceeded and maintain high standards of stock accuracy and order compliance. The ideal candidate has a Grade 12, 1-2 years' experience in warehouse and supply chain, and skills in SAP and Excel. Teamwork and strong problem-solving abilities are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years warehouse and supply chain experience.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Ensure relevant daily warehouse KPI’s are exceeded.
• Comply with specifications of order type by customer within time and quality standards.
• Ensure duties are carried out to achieve warehouse performance standards.
• Ensure accuracy of stock counts, picking, binning.
• Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies effectively.

Key Outputs

• Ensure relevant daily warehouse KPI’s are exceeded
• Comply to specifications of order type by customer within time and quality standards
• Ensure warehouse procedures are carried out safely within the framework of compliance to SOPs.
• Ensure duties are carried out to ensure achievement of warehouse performance standards. (i.e. Maintain parts stock, reduce stock loss/damages)
• Ensure accuracy of stock counts, picking, binning
• Effective investigation and resolution of all stock discrepancies and implement control measures.
• Maintain good housekeeping standards

Qualification, Experience And Competencies

• Grade 12
• Microsoft Excel will be an advantage
• 1-2 years warehouse and supply chain experience
• SAP & EWM Experience will be an advantage
