SUMMARY: Senior Manager Service and Parts - KZN MIDLANDS

The incumbent would be responsible for ensuring maximum efficient operations of workshops including machines, equipment and spares, through the direction of a technical support team made up of technicians.

POSITION INFO:

Key Performance Areas

  • Profitable management and administration of the workshop and parts
  • Order spares and components needed for reparations and maintenance
  • Dealing with enquiries regarding products and prices
  • Knowledge of repair and maintenance of agricultural equipment
  • Schedule machinery and equipment maintenance
  • Management of staff and practices

Requirements

  • National Diploma and/ or qualified Artisan
  • Excellent MS Office skills and knowledge POS and Retail Operating Systems
  • Extensive knowledge of inventory control

Experience

  • 6 years related experience
  • Experience in the operations of a workshop (job cards, job scheduling etc)
  • Ability to effectively communicate and/or negotiate with high level of proficiency
