A motor dealership in Gqeberha is seeking an experienced Parts Salesman to join their team. The successful candidate will assist customers with parts identification and sourcing, provide quotations, manage stock levels, and ensure efficient service. Candidates should have a Matric/Grade 12, 2-3 years’ experience in a dealership environment, and a valid driver's licence. Strong vehicle knowledge and customer service skills are essential.
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Parts Salesman to join our dealership team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting customers and workshop staff with parts sales, ensuring accurate identification, efficient service, and excellent product knowledge.
Assist customers (retail and internal workshop) with identifying and sourcing required vehicle parts.
Provide accurate quotations and process parts orders promptly.
Maintain up-to-date product and pricing knowledge.
Manage stock levels and participate in regular inventory counts.
Ensure proper storage, labelling, and dispatch of parts.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
Promote additional products and accessories to maximize sales opportunities.
Handle returns, warranties, and credit processes efficiently.
Adhere to dealership and manufacturer policies and standards.
Matric / Grade 12 essential.
Minimum 2–3 years’ experience as a Parts Salesman in a motor dealership environment.
Strong knowledge of vehicle parts and accessories.
Experience using dealership management systems (e.g., Kerridge, Automate, Evolve).
Valid driver’s licence.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Team-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Professional, reliable, and self-motivated.
