A Parts Sales Manager at a Parts Wholesaler is responsible for leading and managing the parts sales department, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, efficient inventory management, and achievement of sales and profitability targets.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Strategies: Developing and implementing sales and price strategies that align with company goals and assist in meeting sales targets and profit objectives.
  • Team Management: Manage and lead the parts sales team by setting clear performance expectations and providing coaching and support. Monitor staff performance and conduct performance reviews. Ensure timely and accurate processing of orders, quotations, and invoices.
  • Mentoring/Coaching: Leading and mentoring the sales team to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Marketing: Coordinate promotional activities and marketing campaigns for parts sales.
  • Complaints: Address and resolve customer complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  • Collaboration and Relationship Maintenance: Maintain strong relationships with key customers, suppliers, and internal departments (e.g. workshop, service, procurement).
  • Inventory Management: Oversee stock levels to ensure availability of fast-moving items and minimize overstocking or obsolescence.
  • Sales Analysis: Conduct regular analysis of sales performance, customer trends (Customer by Category), and market competition.
