Rosebank International seeks a Lecturer to teach and lecture a defined hours-based workload. You will engage students, track progress, and prepare assessments in collaboration with the Central Academic Team.

This role includes supporting the Programme Coordinator with results analysis to identify at‑risk modules. Responsibilities include updating the LMS, providing student feedback, and participating in academic meetings across faculties, with ongoing professional development to enhance teaching

Formación

• Bachelor degree with Statistics/Mathematics up to 3rd year or
• 3-year Finance/Business degree with major Economics/Math/Accounting at NQF 7 level.

Job Purpose:

To teach/lecture an agreed number of hours based on module Specialisation requirements. To engage and prepare students for assessments by tracking module pacers, identifying and supporting at-risk students, managing general student administrative support, and developing assessments by engaging with the Central Academic Team. Assisting the Programme Coordinator in tracking and analysing academic results to evaluate the performance of the module and to identify at-risk modules.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Deliver lectures and engage students based on module-specific requirements in line with module pacers.
• Manage resources including academic materials and consulting with the Information Centre
• Update the learning management system and provide feedback to students.
• Engage and prepare students for assessments, identify at-risk students, and develop assessments by Central Academic Team briefings.
• Monitor student engagement as well as assessment submission with relevant escalation.
• Attend and participate in academic meetings across all faculties.
• Reflect on, review, and analyse student module results.
• Support the monitoring of at‑risk students in modules assigned to lectures.
• Academic Professional Development: complete a set number of academic professional development interventions per academic cycle (one year) that contribute to the improvement of the Brands Teaching-Learning practice and personal professional academic status.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor degree with Statistics/ Mathematics up to 3rd year or
• 3 year Finance/Business degree with 1 or more of the following modulescompleted at least at an NQF 7 level or as majors Economics/Math's/Accounting.
• Minimum 3 years lecturing or tutoring experience.
