Emeris is seeking a Lecturer to deliver Experience Design Technology 1A in Semester 1. You will prepare lectures from provided content, supplement with your expertise, and ensure modules meet learning outcomes and contracted hours.

You will mark assessments, provide constructive feedback, run workshops to support student success, and handle academic administration such as recording marks and reporting on student progress. Training and professional development are encouraged.

Qualifikationen

• NQF Level 8 qualification in visual design with Adobe CC skills.
• Professional portfolio illustrating expertise in Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Full technical waiver applies.

Emeris consolidates resources and expertise from IIE Varsity College, IIE MSA, IIE-Vega School, and IIE School of Hospitality & Service Management, with a unified approach ensuring a consistent standard of excellence in teaching, learning, and student support.

Semester 1

• Experience Design Technology 1A

Key Performance Areas:

Prepare for lectures based on provided content. Supplement content with own expertise. Deliver assigned modules to the stated outcomes and contracted hours. Mark student assessments and provide constructive feedback. Support student academic success by implementing workshops where needed. Perform academic admin, such as capturing assessment marks and reporting on student success. Provide content feedback. Engage with professional development opportunities and attend initial training sessions.

Job Purpose:

Lecture based on provided content, ensure students are guided and supported in their learning. Mark student submissions and engage with campus teaching and learning

Minimum Qualification Requirements:

Ideal: NQF Level 8 Qualification in any visual design field with Adobe Creative Cloud software skills.

Full Technical Waiver Applies. Professional Portfolio to illustrate expertise in Adobe Software, especially Illustrator and Photoshop

Minimum Work Experience Requirements:

Experience and portfolio in Adobe Creative Cloud Software such as Photoshop and Illustrator. Experience in using a drawing tablet for digital illustration will be considered a bonus.
