Position Summary

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our dynamic, fast-paced Integrative Medical Clinic in Constantia on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will be compassionate, highly organized, technologically proficient, and comfortable working with a wide range of patients, including those with complex medical conditions such as cancer. This role is well-suited to a nurse who is confident, capable of working independently within established protocols, and collaborative in nature. A genuine interest in and respect for Integrative and Functional Medicine is essential.

Minimum Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) qualification and registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC)


• Legal right to work in South Africa


• Demonstrated competency in administering IV treatments


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Outlook and Excel), Google Suite, and general computer-based systems


• Strong interpersonal and communication skills


• Fluent in written and spoken English

Desirable Experience

• Prior experience in Integrative Medicine, including IV Nutrient Therapy and/or Ozone Therapy


• Experience working with oncology patients


• Familiarity with the unique needs of infants, elderly, and chronically ill patients


• Knowledge of clinical stock management and patient care coordination


• Administrative and coordination experience within a clinical setting

Key Responsibilities

• Administering IV treatments, injections, and monitoring patient vitals


• Assisting the physician with clinical procedures and patient care


• Communicating patient needs, concerns, and updates to the physician


• Coordinating laboratory results and ensuring timely communication with patients


• Supporting reception and dispensary staff during peak periods, including phone answering


• Guiding patients in the use of clinic equipment and ensuring patient comfort


• Maintaining accurate documentation and adhering to clinic protocols


• Demonstrating professionalism, empathy, and collaborative spirit in all interactions

Working Hours

Required availability: 3 mornings per week (Mon, Wed, Fri) with possibility of afternoon shifts if required and available. Additional shifts may be offered based on clinic needs and mutual agreement. Final scheduling to be confirmed during the interview process.
