Job Advert Summary

This top performing girls' school is looking to replace experienced music instrument teachers. The following part-time (dependent on learner numbers, anticipated between 6-8 hours per week) SGB educator post is available from 01 January 2026: PART-TIME CELLO TEACHER

Applicants must

  • have a BMus or equivalent degree with cello teaching methodology as a subject and at least 3 years teaching experience
  • be willing to be involved in the extra-curricular music programme of the school
  • be willing to prepare students for eisteddfods, external examinations and other school functions
  • be prepared to undertake some administrative tasks relevant to cello tuition as the Director of Music may require
  • have the ability to work creatively with students and to work as member of a vibrant music team

Only short-listed candidates will be contacted and invited to an interview and will be taken on a tour of the school and expected to teach a lesson. We reserve the right not to fill the posts.
