Position Overview

The Paralegal will work directly under the company’s lawyer, providing vital support in managing legal documentation, compliance matters, contract administration, and regulatory research. This role requires strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities both written and verbal. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast‑paced business environment and demonstrate discretion, professionalism, and initiative.

  • Assist the lawyer in preparing, reviewing, and organizing legal documents, contracts, and correspondence.
  • Conduct legal research on transportation, logistics, and customs‑related matters.
  • Maintain and organize case files, compliance records, and document management systems.
  • Coordinate with clients and internal departments to gather necessary information for legal and compliance purposes.
  • Prepare summaries, briefs, and reports as requested by the lawyer.
  • Manage deadlines, schedules, and follow‑ups to ensure timely completion of legal tasks.
  • Assist in the drafting of standard agreements, policies, and internal legal templates.
  • Support communication with external legal partners, regulators, and clients as needed.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Paralegal, Legal Secretary, or in a similar legal support role.
  • Strong command of the English language (both written and oral) — excellent grammar, clarity, and precision are essential.
  • Experience in brokerage, logistics, or customs is highly desirable.
  • Experience with U.S. law a plus.
  • Knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation standards.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and integrity.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with legal research tools.
