Placements24 in Welkom is seeking eager individuals to join as Apprentice Mechanics. This hands-on apprenticeship provides mentorship in automotive repair and maintenance, with you learning to diagnose, service, and repair a wide range of vehicles under experienced technicians.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years or older.
Strong interest in automotive mechanics and technology.
Good physical stamina and dexterity.
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist certified mechanics with vehicle inspections, diagnostics, and repair procedures.
Perform basic maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
Learn to identify mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic equipment and technical manuals.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
