Job summary

Zohorecruit is seeking an experienced electrical engineer to support operations on European projects in Poland and Germany. The role focuses on reviewing electrical plans, ensuring accuracy, and supervising installation progress while mobilizing resources to meet the construction schedule.

The ideal candidate has a Matric/NQF 4, a National Diploma or Artisan Red Seal, and at least 5 years with heavy mechanical equipment; willingness to travel and obtain a passport is essential.

Qualifications

• Matric/NQF level 4.
• Mechanical/Electrical Engineering National Diploma or Artisan Trade (Red Seal).
• Minimum 5 years of experience working with heavy mechanical equipment.
• Willing to apply for a passport and travel overseas.

Responsibilities

• Identify, report and correct safety deviations to ensure safe machine operation.
• Provide care on machines to prevent damage and pilferage.
• Schedule maintenance times, parts, consumables and labour.
• Call for assistance when task exceeds capability; coordinate with supervision on logistics.
• Arrange adequate tools, spares, consumables and devices to enable tasks.
• Complete and file risk assessments, job cards, time-sheets, incident forms, waybills before end of shift.
