Outbound Business Consultant (Healthtech Industry)

Location & Salary

Location: Durban, South Africa

Salary: R36k - R39k per month (subject to discussion).

Position Information

In this pivotal role, you will onboard and maintain larger mass market clients, ensuring an exceptional end-to-end client experience while continuously consulting them to identify up-sell opportunities and becoming their trusted business advisor.

Duties
  • Delivering a seamless end-to-end client experience through strong relationship building, high-value engagements, and strategic consultation.
  • Taking full ownership of the assigned client base, including onboarding, product training, and ongoing client success across multiple channels (in-person, telephonic, digital).
  • Analysing client data to enhance product usage, drive change management, and identify opportunities for growth and retention.
  • Recording detailed CRM notes and all client queries on the SD+ platform.
  • Collaborating with New Business Consultants to ensure regional growth, profitable conversion, and long-term client satisfaction.
Job Requirements
  • National Senior Certificate (Matric); a relevant tertiary qualification is preferred.
  • 5+ years' client service experience in both the healthcare and information technology sectors.
  • 2+ years training clients on software products.
  • 2+ years upselling products and services to existing clients.
  • Sound knowledge of the South African private medical industry and medical practices is highly advantageous.
  • Proficiency in English; strong communication, negotiation, and change management skills essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to self-manage, plan effectively, and collaborate within a high-performance team.
