Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking an Organic Search Manager to own the SEO roadmap for a book of B2B and growing-brand clients. You will drive technical SEO, keyword strategy and content priorities, coordinating with writers and AI to produce drafts.

You will champion the ranking story, oversee local and multi-location SEO, and report progress via GA4 and Search Console for each client. This is a remote role with global client engagement.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on in SEO; you have run audits and fixes yourself.
• Fluency with Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog and Ahrefs or Semrush.
• Agency experience across several clients at once.
• Clear spoken English with US clients on live calls.

Responsibilities

• Own technical SEO: crawl, indexation, site speed, schema, site architecture.
• Lead keyword strategy, on-page optimization and content priorities with writers/AI.
• Ensure clients show up in Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, and classic organic results.
• Manage links, local search and multi-location SEO as needed.
• Provide GA4/Search Console reporting and quarterly client roadmaps.

What You Will Own

• Technical SEO: crawl, indexation, site speed, schema and site architecture.
• Keyword strategy, on‑page optimization and content priorities, with writers and AI producing the drafts.
• Getting clients found in AI search: Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity, alongside classic organic results.
• Links, local search and multi‑location SEO where the client needs it.
• Reporting in GA4 and Search Console, and the quarterly roadmap for each client.
