Job summary

FNB in Johannesburg is seeking a Functional Configuration Consultant II to translate business requirements into effective IT solutions. You will work within a team to design configurations, align with SDLC governance, and deliver value through reusable processes.

The ideal candidate has 5–8 years of functional and business analysis experience, strong knowledge of Oracle Fusion modules, and a proactive approach to stakeholder engagement, testing, documentation, and training.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent; IT qualification or BA certificate preferred.
• 5–8 years of functional and business analysis in IT environments.
• Strong understanding of system architecture and process mapping.
• Experience with Oracle Fusion Fixed Assets and Oracle Fusion Project Costing.
• Experience with Oracle Financials (Accounts Payable and GL).
• Knowledge of Oracle Cloud is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and translate business requirements into actionable solutions.
• Estimate and deliver configuration and development work per specifications.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation across the SDLC.
• Ensure unit testing and performance validation for changes.
• Engage stakeholders and provide expert consulting guidance.
• Coordinate training for end users and clients.
• Contribute to project plans and manage milestones.
