  • Are you an experienced Oracle Functional Specialist with deep domain expertise in Supply Chain Management?

Do you excel in business analysis, testing, configuration, and functional support across complex Oracle ERP implementations?

We're looking for an Oracle SCM Functional Specialist to join a high-impact Financial Services program that supports key procurement and financial transformation initiatives.

About the Role

As an Oracle Functional Specialist (SCM), you will play a pivotal role in providing ongoing functional support and enhancements to Oracle ERP modules, particularly around the Supply Chain value chain.

Your work will directly impact procurement efficiency, supplier lifecycle management, and strategic sourcing initiatives. You will also support project delivery by facilitating workshops, conducting gap analysis, managing functional configurations, and driving end-to-end UAT and solution acceptance.

Core Responsibilities
  • Provide functional support and maintenance across Oracle ERP SCM modules : Purchasing, Sourcing, Procurement, Supplier, Supplier Lifecycle Management (SLM)
  • Lead and facilitate requirements gathering and analysis workshops with business owners.
  • Define business needs, develop functional specifications, and configure Oracle applications accordingly.
  • Support testing cycles : create test scenarios, perform system validation, manage UAT.
  • Drive enhancements and new demand integration from business units.
  • Document processes and configurations, and develop user training materials.
  • Provide expert advice on Oracle best practices and serve as a trusted advisor.
  • Identify risks within your ERP functional stream and escalated appropriately.
  • Collaborate with development teams, business analysts, and project managers for smooth end-to-end delivery.
Experience and Qualifications Required
  • A tertiary qualification (NQF6 / 7 or equivalent)
  • Postgraduate qualification (advantageous)
  • Oracle certifications (both on-prem and Cloud)
  • 8+ years of experience in Oracle application support, functional analysis & configuration and business process re‑engineering
  • Proven experience in Oracle SCM modules across large, complex organisations.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP system configuration and performance optimisation.
  • Experience in Financial Services sector or large enterprise environments preferred.
