Qualifications

• Bachelor's Honours Degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics or related field.
• 0-5 years in mechanical or optomechanical roles, preferably in space/defence.
• Strong attention to detail and clear communication.
• Experience with mechanical design, development and manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead assembly, integration and testing of high precision optomechanical systems for spaceborne applications.
• Perform optomechanical assembly, integration and testing and maintain detailed records.
• Create procedures, test plans and test reports as required.
• CAD of AIT hardware and MGSE; manage configurations and GD&T for designs.
