Job description

Job title - Operator, Warehouse Location – Midrand, South AfricaWarehouse logistics operators are responsible for packaging, storing, and transporting raw materials, trade goods and finished products.

Tasks also include correctly managing stock and safely shipping our products to customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and unloading trucks (Raw materials, finished goods & containers).
  • Labelling (Raw materials, finished goods & containers).
  • Providing forklift daily maintenance services when necessary.
  • Material Handling (Raw materials, packaging materials & finished goods).
  • Completing In Process Records of the operation complying with Hygiene, Safety and Environment regulations and complying with Quality and Safety Standards (Good Manufacturing Practices).
  • Collecting samples and sending them to QC.

Requirements

You bring at least years of previous experience in similar role. Expertise in task-based Risk Assessment. Forklifts driving license is a strong advantage. Knowledge of topics related to food safety: GMP, FSSC. Food Defense, Food Safety. Knowledge in International Standards (ISO, OHSAS). Skills in data analysis, including working with electronic data.
