A mining company based in Hotazel, Northern Cape, is looking for an Operator Track Dozer to perform dozing operations involving overburden or manganese. The position requires at least 1 year of experience in operating mobile equipment in a mining environment. This is a permanent full-time role with responsibilities including equipment inspection and safety reporting. The role offers support for part-time studies for eligible employees.

The South Africa Manganese operation can be found in the manganese‑rich Kalahari Basin, in the country’s Northern Cape, which is home to 80 % of the world’s manganese. This position is based at our open‑cut Mamatwan mine which started operating more than half a century ago.
Eligible employees will receive an employer contribution towards the company‑elected retirement fund.
South 32 will support assistance for part‑time studies aligned to role requirements and business needs at accredited institutions to eligible employees.
This role is a permanent full‑time position.
As an operator track dozer, you will be responsible to doze overburden or manganese from the applicable dumping area either to a waste dump or in‑pit stockpile. Dumping could include road, ramp, safety and catchment construction.
