Way With Words in Western Cape is seeking an energetic Transcription Operations Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations of transcription and captioning services, reporting to Head of Transcription Operations. You will manage client and contractor relationships, coordinate workflows with the tech team, and ensure timely delivery for international projects.

The ideal candidate has a strong command of English, sharp attention to detail, and the ability to start by 1 May.

Responsabilidades

• Liaise with clients and suppliers via phone, email and in-person.
• Onboard clients to the system and manage accounts.
• Coordinate with contractors to assign recordings and resolve file issues.
• Coordinate workflow with tech team for bugs and updates.
• Process orders on the in-house platform and assign to transcribers.
• Run email marketing campaigns and handle large project inquiries.
• Manage custom projects and liaise with CEO/COO and recruitment as needed.
• Support the operations team and assist with ad hoc duties.

Transcription Operations Supervisor - Western Cape

Way With Words is seeking an energetic, dynamic, language lover to work with our Head of Transcription Operations in managing the day-to-day operations of Way With Words' transcription and captioning service areas.

Job Specification

The role includes:

1. Client and supplier liaison (telephonic, email and in-person)

• New and existing client correspondence;
• Client queries and complaints;
• Onboarding of clients to system;
• Account management of standard and Key Account clients;

Contractor liaison

• Assigning recordings to contractors;
• Liaison regarding file information, file rates, flagging issues with files;

Workflow management

• Liaison with tech team for workflow system bugs and fixes, updating requirements, liaison with various teams in this regard;
• Processing orders received on in-house platform;
• Assigning to transcribers based on competencies, turnaround times, custom client requirements;
• Assisting clients with upload queries and issues;

Sales and marketing

• Email marketing campaigns targeted at various industries, using various manual and automated methods and platforms;
• Liaison with large volume project enquiries, clarifying parameters and requirements, connecting to relevant project manager;

Project management

• Client and contractor liaison and workflow management for custom projects outside of standard service offerings;

Team liaison

• Liaising within Operations team;
• Liaison with CEO and COO on marketing campaigns;
• Liaison with Recruitment team;
• Ad hoc responsibilities.

Offer

Monthly Salary: Market related
