Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee all incoming product streams in a waste-to-energy facility. This role focuses on the processing of waste material into biofuels/biofill products while ensuring smooth daily operations and compliance with service level agreements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate the receipt, handling, and processing of incoming waste material.
- Oversee conversion of product into biofuel/biofill according to company standards.
- Maintain and improve operational workflows, safety protocols, and quality control.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the operations team to achieve production targets.
- Prepare operational reports and liaise with senior management on performance metrics.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, environmental, and contractual obligations (SLA).
- Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and stakeholders for smooth supply chain operations.
Requirements
- 10–15 years of proven operations management experience, preferably in waste-to-energy, recycling, manufacturing, or industrial processing.
- Strong communication, leadership, and administrative skills.
- Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental standards.
- High level of problem-solving and decision-making ability.
- Competitive salary (R40k–R45k/month).

Control Environmental Officer – Waste Management
Location: North West, South Africa. Deadline: November 7, 2025.
Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12) and a minimum of a three-year degree in Environmental Management/Science or Natural Science or equivalent; at least 4 years of relevant experience.
