Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee all incoming product streams in a waste-to-energy facility. This role focuses on the processing of waste material into biofuels/biofill products while ensuring smooth daily operations and compliance with service level agreements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate the receipt, handling, and processing of incoming waste material.
• Oversee conversion of product into biofuel/biofill according to company standards.
• Maintain and improve operational workflows, safety protocols, and quality control.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the operations team to achieve production targets.
• Prepare operational reports and liaise with senior management on performance metrics.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory, environmental, and contractual obligations (SLA).
• Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and stakeholders for smooth supply chain operations.

Requirements

Control Environmental Officer – Waste Management

Requirements

• Matric (Grade 12) and a minimum of a three-year degree in Environmental Management/Science or Natural Science or equivalent; at least 4 years of relevant experience.
